Dora M. Rucker

Dora Mae (Tennant) Rucker, of Findlay, went to be with the Lord on April 3, 2019 at the age of 78. She was born in Findlay, Ohio on January 17, 1941 to the late Ernest and Isabel (Lydick) Tennant. Dora will live on in the memory of her husband, Bud Rucker; daughters, Donna Homan, Marsha (Major) Powell, Susan (Craig) Gotschalk, Deanna (Mike) Brown; sons, Jeff (Pam) Fackler, James (Pam) Fackler, Charles (Jody) Rucker; 20 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her babysitting children, Virginia, Garret and Paul; brothers, Ernie (Nancy) Tennant and Art Tennant; sisters, Gloria (Dan) Powers, Katherine Cunningham, Susie (Carl) Wooten, and Kay (Tom) Feeney. Dora was preceded in death by her late husband, James Fackler Sr.; son, James E. Fackler, a grandson, Ronnie James Wells Fackler; and a sister, Maryann Dickey. Dora was a member of Moose Lodge #698 and Disabled Veterans of America Chapter #43. She loved to babysit and be around people. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending car shows. Dora was a Ford lover in spite of trying to talk her into a Chevy. Boxer dogs were always in her house and she loved to keep parakeets. Plants were plenty in her house. She had a green thumb for both flowers and gardens. Friends and family may visit on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 8th at 10 a.m. with Reverend David To officiating. Burial will follow in Benton Ridge Cemetery.
