Doris Reagan

Doris "Doe" Varner Reagan, 90, of Findlay and formerly of Pompano Beach, Florida, passed away May 25, 2017 at Fox Run Assisted Living. She was born on September 24, 1926 in Wapakoneta, Ohio to the late William and Ethel (Wright) Varner. Doris married Ed Lamson and they divorced. She then married Walter Gano and he preceded her in death. Doris married John Reagan and he preceded her in death. The family moved to Findlay in 1928. Doris graduated from Findlay High School in 1944. She then moved to Lima, Ohio in 1950 and later moved to Pompano Beach, Florida in 1972 where she worked as a manager and buyer for a gift shop until her retirement. Doris returned to Findlay to be close to her family. She enjoyed traveling, knitting and reading. While at Fox Run she was blessed with good friends and a very caring staff. Doris is survived by a grandson, Tyler C. Price; granddaughter, Gretchen Weir; son-in-law, Steve Niswonger; nieces, Cindy (Joe) Metzger, Barbara Leisure, and Kathie (Jim) Johnston; and a nephew, William Varner. She was preceded in death by her daughter Linda Niswonger; brothers, Tommy Varner, and Robert Varner; sisters, Katie Pressnell, and Ruth Busick, and nephews, Robert Busick, and David Busick; and a niece, Annette Gallagher. Friends and family may visit on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500).
