Dorothy Enright

Dorothy Marie Enright, age 94 years young, of Findlay, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, September 18, 2023 at the Birchaven Skilled Nursing Facility with family by her side. Dorothy was born in Toledo on July 26, 1929 to Deamus and Mary Jennings. Dorothy married the late Thomas Enright on November 13, 1947 in Covington, Kentucky. She worked at the Honeywell facility in Fostoria until she retired 45 years ago.

Left to cherish her memory are her nine children, Patrick (Carol), Virginia Wirick, Michael (Kathy), Catherine (Dennis) Roberts, Theresa (Scott) Harrison, Margaret (Terry) Waid, Dorothy (Joseph) Schwab, Thomas and Timothy. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 72 great-grandchildren; and 37 great-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Irma (Ralph) Hammer, Helen Purse and brother James (Chris) Jennings. And not to forget, her cat, Pumpkin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Deamus and Mary; husband, Thomas; brother, Fred Jennings; two grandsons, T.J. Enright and Nathan Roberts; one granddaughter, Layla Phillips; and daughter-in-law, Cheryl Enright.

Mom had a zest and love for life and enjoyed every minute she spent here on earth. She was extremely proud of all her children and their families, bragging about them to anyone who would give her a listening ear. She enjoyed going to the VFW, Eagles, Moose, and any other facility to sing karaoke with her friends. She also enjoyed going to Hawaii, shopping, going to the casino, or just hanging out with family, and enjoying a glass or two of sweet red wine. She will be dearly missed by her family and all that knew her.

Special thanks to the entire staff at Birchaven for their kind, supportive care of our mother and the family during her stay there.

Viewing will be on Monday, September 25, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay (419-422-1500).
