Erlinda Delarosa

Maria Erlinda “Linda” DeLaRosa, 91, of North Baltimore, formerly of Findlay and Fostoria, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Briar Hill Health Campus in North Baltimore.

She was born February 13, 1934, in Crystal City, Texas, to Daniel and Maria (Tamez) Maldonado.

Linda married Jose Tellez, and they later divorced. She then married Ismael DeLaRosa on February 22, 1991, and he preceded her in death in 2017. She was a hard worker in more than one way. While working at Findlay Industries, she gave 35 years of her life as a seamstress of car seats until her retirement. She was also a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish, Findlay.

Linda is survived by her children, Laura Tellez and Juan Daniel DeLaRosa; grandchildren, Steven Joseph Tellez and Alyse Tellez; three great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition, Linda is survived by her siblings, Otila Sanchez, Daniel Maldonado Jr., Beatrice Gonzales, Gloria Vasquez, and Armando Maldonado; in-laws, John and Linda DeLaRosa, and Olivia Tellez; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands; sons, David Tellez and Steven Tellez; and grandson, John Garcia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025, at St. Michael the Archangel, Downtown Chapel, 617 W. Main Cross St., Findlay. Friends and family may visit from 3 - 5 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500). Linda will be laid to rest next to her husband in Knollcrest Cemetery.
