Ethan M. Vermillion

Heaven's gain was our loss when our angel was called by our Lord. Ethan Michael Vermillion, 9, of Findlay, passed away on April 13, 2016. Treasured son of Shawn D. and Melodie J. (Patterson) Vermillion, he was born July 24, 2006 in Toledo, OH. Ethan had a kind heart and gentle soul. He touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. Ethan loved Mickey Mouse, playing with daddy and praises from his momma. He also attended Blanchard Valley Center School. In addition to his parents, Ethan is survived and loved by uncles Brian (Jen) Patterson, and Eric (Karen) Vermillion; aunt, Anna (Bill) Baumlein; cousins, Drew Metzger, Alec and Tyler Patterson, Faith Johnson, Nathan, Ashley, and Sarah Vermillion; maternal grandparents, Roger and Dana (Altman) Patterson; paternal grandparents, Jesse and Christine (Vandemark) Vermillion. He was preceded in death by a cousin, Derek V. Johnson. Friends and family may visit on Monday, April 18, 2016 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 19 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, with Reverend Donna Ebanks officiating. Memorial contributions in Ethan's name may be made to Cerebral Palsy Foundation or Blanchard Valley Center School.
