Florence K. Benner

Florence Katheryn Benner, 90, of Findlay, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at the Good Samaritan in Arlington, Ohio. She was born November 15, 1927 to the late Edward and Lena (Swartz) Laytart. Raised by her father from the age of 3, Florence married the love of her life, Darl Benner, on October 6, 1950. They were blessed with 3 children, Karen (Gordon) Watts of Toledo, Judy (Jim) Spallinger of Bluffton and Gary (Lydia) Benner of Findlay. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Florence was preceded in death by a son, Gary; 3 brothers; and 1 sister. Florence lived and worked on the family farm alongside her husband, Darl, for many years. By her request, a private graveside service will be held in Arlington Cemetery at a later date.
