Garret C. Knott

June 15, 1977 — April 15, 2026

North Baltimore

Garret Charles Knott, 48, of North Baltimore, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at his residence. He was born June 15, 1977, in Fremont, Ohio, to Gary E. and Marcia R. (Fitzgerald) Knott.

Garret graduated from Fremont Ross High School where he played right tackle on the football team. He had a lifelong love for sports, and watching and playing the game brought him great joy. He continued his education by attending Terra Community College and Tiffin University where he earned his associate degree in accounting.

Garret was a member of New Hope Vineyard Church in Fremont, where he spent most of his life. Following the passing of his parents, he lived with his brother, Ethan, from 2018 until 2022, when he began to branch out and embrace living more independently.

Garret loved to spend time with his family. Enjoying picnics at the lake to relaxing movie nights together. He had a deep love for his dogs, taking them on car rides and to dog parks whenever he could. To Garret, they were more than pets, they were family.

Garret is survived by his brother, Ethan J. (Elizabeth) Knott; niece, Aubreonna Knott; nephews, Skyler McDaniel, and Logan Peck, all of Van Buren.

He was preceded in death by both his parents.

A celebration of Garret’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Van Buren Methodist Church, 201 S. Main St., Van Buren 45889. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500) is honored to serve Garret’s family.
