Gary Alan Pingle, 75, of Findlay, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of January 30, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center.
He was born June 17, 1949, in Findlay, Ohio, to Harry A. and Madelyn (Bonner) Pingle.
Gary was a Findlay High School graduate. He worked as a fabricator/welder for Whirlpool for many years before retiring. Gary was a life member of Findlay Moose Lodge #698, National Rifle Association (NRA), and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Gary is survived by his children, Troy (Christine) Grose of Deshler, and Jeremy (Connie) Grose of Findlay; grandchildren, Erika Clady of Deshler, Jennifer (Tory) Wagner of Findlay, Kaitlyn Grose of North Baltimore, Tyler Grose of Findlay, Ethan Grose of Findlay, Dawson Clady of Deshler, and Landree Clady of Deshler. In addition, he is survived by his brother, Craig Pingle of Findlay, and ex-wife, Debbie Mendenko of North Baltimore.
He was preceded in death by both parents and his grandson, Isaac Grose.
Friends and family may visit from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Monday, February 3, 2025, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500). Funeral service for Gary will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 4 in the funeral home with one hour of visitation (10-11 a.m.) prior to the service. Pastor Jim Klausing will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
