Gary Lee Spence

Gary Lee Spence, 67, of Findlay, peacefully passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at Bridge Hospice Care Center. He was born on November 10, 1950 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Samuel E. and Jenniebelle K. (Smalley) Spence. On June 28th 1991, Gary married Dixie L. Phelps and they later divorced. Gary enjoyed hunting, dirt track racing, and his loving dog, Molly. Gary is survived by his three sons, Jeremy (Jill) Spence, Jason Spence both of Findlay, and Kurt (Mary) James of Jenera, OH; and 7 wonderful grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy L. Spence; and a sister, Nancy Zehender. Friends and family may visit on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 1 - 3 p.m. and 5 - 7 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 8th at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel/Ten Mile Cemetery, Portage Township.
