Geneva Pizzuti, 86, of Findlay, peacefully passed into the arms of Jesus on November 17, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her children. She was born on January 12, 1930 in Richwood, OH to the late Lawrence and M. Catherine (Reed) Foster. On November 14, 1950 she was united in marriage to Frank Pizzuti. He was the love of her life for 60 years.
Geneva was a devoted wife, loving mother, and homemaker. She was an active member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish and a proud member of the D.A.R. (Daughters of the American Revolution).
Geneva is survived by her loving children, Michael Pizzuti, Rita (James) O'Harra, Teresa (Craig) Humphrey, and Phyllis (John) Carlile; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers, John Foster, James (Sandy) Foster; sister, Jeannette Crumm; and 2 sons-in-law, William Rosshirt, and Jeff Abrams. In addition to her husband, Frank, Geneva was preceded in death by daughters, Pamela Rosshirt, Mary Abrams; granddaughter, Erin Marie Grassel; and sister, M. Elouise Davis.
Friends and family may visit on Monday, November 21, 2016 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500), where a Rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 22 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (Bright Rd.). Monsignor Michael Hohenbrink will celebrate the Mass. Memorial contributions in Geneva's name may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice or to St. Michael the Archangel Parish.
