Georgia A. (Carpenter) Huff

Georgia Ann (Carpenter) Huff, 89, of Findlay, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. She was born on March 19, 1928 to the late Everett and Jenny (Huntington) Carpenter in Putnam County. Georgia married Paul A. Huff, her true love, on August 18, 1948. They were married for 69 years. Georgia retired from Blanchard Valley Hospital after 29 years of service. Georgia is survived by her loving husband, Paul Huff; son, Michael R. (Lucinda) Huff; daughter, Sharon K. (Allan) Benda; grandchildren, Amber K. (Steve) Morris, Kory D. (Amanda) Conley, Kristy L. (Russell) Teegardin, Gregory S. Watkins, Megan R. (Dan) Rarick, and Joshua A. (Amy) Huff; great-grandchildren, Alison, Sophie, and Rusty Teegardin, Gracie and Zoe Rarick, Austin and Wyatt Conley, Jeremiah Watkins, Daisey, Leigha, and Trey Morris; and great-great-grandchild, Piper Kepling. She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen J. Huff; and a sister, Josephine Engard. Friends and family may visit on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at the conclusion of visitation in the funeral home. Services will be officiated by Russell Teegardin Jr. Burial will follow in Bechtel Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Georgia's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
