Georgia C York

Georgia C. York, 83, of Mt. Blanchard, passed away at 7:18 a.m. on December 11, 2019 at Bridge Hospice Care Center. She was born on June 25, 1936 to the late Otha and Dahlia (Ballew) Stearns in Albany, Kentucky. Georgia married J.C. York who preceded her in death on June 23, 1983. Georgia lived 60 years in Kokomo, Indiana, retired from General Motors and was a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 108.

Georgia is survived by three children, Todd (Tammy) York of Mt. Blanchard, Tim (Della) York of Bowling Green, and Taria Emerson of Findlay; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Cressie Prince.

A family service will be held in Albany, Kentucky at a later date. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements.
