Harold Dean Glick

April 2, 1966 — October 9, 2025

Arlington

The world lost a beautiful soul when Harold Dean Glick passed away on October 9, 2025, surrounded by family. He brought love and laughter to everyone around him.

Dean was born in Findlay, Ohio on April 4, 1966, and adopted by Gerald and Nancy (Zuber) Glick who both preceded him in death.

Dean married Robin (Broad) on July 9, 1988. Together they had five children: Casey (Sydney) Glick of Arlington, OH, Cory (Randi) Glick of Bluffton, OH, Cody (Mckenzie) Glick of Arlington, OH, Chase Glick of Arlington, OH, and Ashley Glick of Findlay, OH. Dean’s children were the light of his life and gave him ten grandchildren who loving referred to him as “Papa Dean”: Delaney Glick, Breydan Glick, Kenadey Glick, Paisley Glick, Raleigh Glick, Hudson Dean Glick, Lennon Glick, Faith Brooks, Forrie Glick, and Nicholas Brooks Jr.

In addition, he is survived by his siblings, Terri (Charles) Bogar and David (Mary) Glick.

Also surviving Dean is his fiancé Lisa Berry and family: Olivia (Jack) McKarns, Autumn (Zach) Gehring, Emily (Charles) Shoop, Ivan Berry, Wyatt Berry, and grandchildren Brody, Indie, Sylvie, Calvin, and Wayne.

Dean was a 1985 graduate of Arlington High School where he was active in the band and choir and was the football manager. After high school Dean went to work at Ball Metal. He had various lawn businesses, and a group home for many years before transitioning to maintenance and grounds keeper at the Arlington Good Samaritan. He then became the parks and street superintendent for the village of Arlington, and finally a self-employed handyman and scrapper.

In his free time Dean could be found supporting events kids and grandkids were participating in or riding his golf cart around town with his faithful sidekick, Henry. Dean could fix anything and was always dropping what he was doing to help the next person in need. He bestowed that quality upon his boys who continue to do the same with their skills inherited from him.

A celebration of life will be held at Jenera Community Building on October 26th from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. For those who wish to honor Dean’s memory, a memorial fund will be established at Huntington National Bank. Your love and support are more than enough—contributions are entirely optional.

In lieu of flowers please do a good deed, pay it forward, take a slow drive, right wrongs, and love those around you- it is what Dean did, and would want us to continue to do in his absence.

HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500) is honored to serve Dean’s family.
