Harold A. Pilcher, 96, of Findlay, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Birchaven Village. He was born on August 7, 1924 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Edward and Helen (Winterfeld) Pilcher. Harold was the owner and operator of a local taxi service from 1975-1989. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, and he enjoyed bowling, puzzles, and playing bingo. Harold loved spending time with his family, especially his daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Harold is survived by his daughters, Angela (John) Hill, and Vivian (John) Renner; step-son, Ted Turner; grandchildren, Brianna (Rob) Carr, Hunter Hill, Sierra Hill, Amy Wood, and Vince Turner; 7 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen (Max) Kinkaid. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Jean in 2006.
Friends and family may visit on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 from 4-6 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to service (10-11 a.m.) on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 in the funeral home. Funeral services will start at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Mike Maskell officiating. Burial will follow at Bechtel cemetery. Memorial contributions in Harold’s name may be made to First Baptist Church, 1635 Fostoria Ave, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
