Helen M. Roberts

Helen Marie Roberts, age 79, of Findlay, peacefully drifted into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Friday, April 7, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center. She was born December 18, 1943, in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Joseph and Helen M. (Young) Alexander. On February 22, 1969, Helen married Bob Roberts and he survives.

Helen was a graduate of Thompson High School in Bellevue. She enjoyed fishing, reading, playing cards, and shopping for good deals. Helen was also a member of Moose Lodge 698 of Findlay. She was a great hairstylist and worked at Kohl’s Distribution Center before retiring. Above all, Helen loved spending time with family and friends.

Helen is survived by her loving husband Bob, of 54 years; her son, Shayne Roberts of Ft. Wayne, IN; granddaughter, Katy Roberts; daughter-in-law, Gwen Roberts; brother, Larry Alexander; sisters, Alice Ruetz, and Wilma (Rodney) Johnson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jim Alexander, Frank Alexander, Wayne Alexander, Vince Alexander, Tommy Alexander, Bud Alexander, Bill Alexander, and Dick Alexander; and sisters, JoAnn Pasko, Patricia Alexander, and Maude Alexander.

Friends and family may visit from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay (419-422-1500). Helen’s funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 13 in the funeral home with Deacon Dave Gerardi officiating.
