Henry A. "Tom" Scarberry, 75, of Findlay, passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born on April 18, 1941 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Horton H. and Mary A. (Spears) Scarberry. Henry married Wynn Preston and they shared 19 years together.
Henry retired from Werk Braw as a painter after 17 years of service. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and taking golf cart rides. Henry loved his dogs, Buddy and Brutus.
Henry is survived by his loving wife, Wynn; children, Marsha, Lisa, Thomas, and Rick; siblings, Danny R. (Ellen) Scarberry Sr., Earl M. (Linda) Scarberry Sr., Michael (Betty) Scarberry, Randall (Lori) Scarberry, Roger (Theresa) Scarberry, and Linda Basil; and step-sister, Ernestine Ashlin. In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by brothers, Butch, and Bob Davis.
Friends and family may visit on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the conclusion of visitation with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. Interment follow in Trinity Baptist Cemetery, Co. Rd. 236, Findlay, Ohio. Memorial contributions in Henry's name may be made to the Hancock County Humane Society.
