Homero Garcia Torres Jr., 59, of Findlay, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Birchaven Village. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 5, 1959 to the late Homero G. and Rosa (Garcia) Torres Sr. Homero was united in marriage to Anna D. Gonzalez and she survives him in Findlay.
Homero enjoyed fishing, flea markets, going to lowrider shows and playing softball. One of his greatest memories was when he joined an all men's softball league, held in McComb. The team was called "La Raza". He was first baseman and was known to everyone for his ability to do the splits and never let a ball go pass him. In his past times, Homero was a Golden Glove boxer and body builder, as well as an arm guard security guard.
Homero is survived by his sons, Trent King, Brandon Elias-Higinio Torres, and Lorenzo Alejandro Luis Torres; daughters, Celina Elias Minerva Torres, Whitney Gonzalez and CJ Dawn Forster; 6 grandchildren, Addison, Kendall, Kingston Torres, Santi Hayes, Amaryllis Robinette, and Gabrielle Sims. He is also survived by his brothers, Rick, Randy, Rene, and Joe Torres; and a sister, Angela Torres. Homero was preceded in death by his parents, Homero Garcia and Rosa (Garcia) Torres Sr., and a brother, Armando Torres.
