Ivan Paul Steinhour, Jr.

Ivan Paul Steinhour Jr., 66, of Findlay sailed into Heaven’s Harbor, on February 8, 2024, from The Heritage while surrounded by family.

Paul was born January 24, 1958, in Richland, WA to Army service member Ivan and Donna (Sulser) Steinhour Sr. Paul married Debra Henderson October 23, 1976, and they later divorced; in their thirty years of marriage, they raised four beautiful children.

In life, Paul was a truck driver for Findlay Truck Line and Cooper Tire and Rubber Company, but his passion was music. He was part of the southern gospel group, The Fishermen Quartet where he composed beautiful songs praising the Lord and all his glory. Paul was a prominent member of Upper Room Church of God where he was highly involved playing piano and wore many hats.

Paul was proceeded in death by his father, Reverend Ivan Paul Steinhour Sr. Those left behind to cherish Paul’s memory are Debra (Steve) Roberts; children, Shane (Tammie) Steinhour, Heather Houck, Brandie (Melchisdec) Waples, all of Findlay, and Isaac Paul (Michelle) Steinhour of Columbus. Paul was blessed with thirteen grandchildren and soon to be six great-grandchildren; mother, Donna Steinhour; siblings, Deborah (Brad) Kemerley, Keith (Tracy) Steinhour, Dana Aspell (Jerry), all of Blanchard, OK; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may visit Sunday, February 11, 2024, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 5:00-7:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, 419-422-1500. Paul’s funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 12, 2024, at Upper Room Church of God, 520 W. Bigelow Ave., Findlay, with an hour of visitation prior to the service. Bishop Terry McBeath and Pastor Ken McBeath will preside. Interment will follow in Knollcrest Cemetery.
