J. Greg Drake

J. Greg Drake, 55, of Findlay, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2020 at Bridge Hospice Care Center. He was born October 1, 1964 in Findlay to Kay J. (Gallant) Drake and the late Raymond W. Drake. On May 16, 2018, Greg married Traci L. (Miller) Conley and she survives.

Greg was a Findlay High School graduate and was head of grounds in the Findlay City Schools, retiring after 32 years of service. He enjoyed coaching youth baseball and softball, fishing with his brother, and golfing with his friends. Greg was a diehard fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds, and The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Greg is survived by his wife, Traci; daughter, Morgan; sons, Thomas, Garret, Joshua; stepsons, Chase and Chance Conley. He is also survived by brothers, Brad (Rosanna) Drake, and Dave (Amy) Drake.

Friends and family may visit on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 4 – 7 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). The family requests all attending to honor Greg’s memory by wearing their favorite sports themed apparel. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 14 in the funeral home with Pastor Don Ayers officiating. Interment will follow in Knollcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Greg’s name may be made to Van Buren High School Athletic Department, 217 S. Main St., Van Buren, Ohio 45889 or to the Family in c/o Hufford Family Funeral Home.
