Jack E. Cannon

Jack Edward Cannon, 88, of Findlay, died Sunday, August 7, 2022. He was born in Toledo on December 30, 1933 to Dean and Lillian (Holland) Cannon. He married Lily Joan Kornstadt on September 24, 1955, and she preceded him in death.

Jack proudly served his country in the Korean War. He was a retired truck driver and was also a member of 50 North and Korean War Veterans Association.

Jack is survived by his son, Rob (Sherry) Cannon, daughters Gail (Glen) Taylor and Amber (Danny) Flugga, 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings Mike, Tom, Paul and Dean Cannon, Sue Corlett and Sally Wells, as well as best friend Brett Frakes and close friends Jim and Linda Kreiling. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his son Danny Cannon, and siblings Bruce and Ron Cannon, Mary Bolander and Elizabeth Knapp.

Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2022, at Upper Room Church of God, 520 W. Bigelow Ave., Findlay. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. following visitation, with Bishop Terry McBeath and Pastor Ken McBeath officiating. Interment will follow in Knollcrest Cemetery with full military rites performed by the Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad.
