James E. Davidson

James Edward Davidson, 76, of Findlay, peacefully passed away at his residence on April 22, 2021 with his loving family at his side. He was born March 31, 1945 in Findlay to the late Jessie and Cleora (Wise) Davidson. On December 31, 1977, James married Beate Walker. Together they shared 43 years of marriage.

James was a 1963 graduate of Findlay High School. He was one of many who helped build the shelter house and stairs next to the Riverside Park dam. His greatest enjoyment is working on tractors, mowers, and mowing for the elderly. James was a member of the Upper Room Church of God. He liked to visit other churches as well.

James is survived by his loving wife Beate; sons, Tod (Paulette) Davidson of McComb, Thad (Heather) Davidson of Findlay, James (Melisa) Davidson of Findlay; daughters, Nicole Davidson of Findlay, Vivian Bright of North Carolina, and Tonya Johnson of Nevada; 15 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren. Surviving also are his siblings, Jim Hamilton, Jenny Peiffer, Pam Davidson, Phylis, Mary Benson, and Sharon Walker. James was preceded in death by brothers, Kenny and Leroy Davidson; sisters, Carol and Barbara.
