James "Fulk" A. Fulkerson

February 23, 1977 — November 28, 2025

Ada

James “Fulk” Anthony Fulkerson moved on from this earth November 28, 2025, at 48 years old, to go live with Jesus. He was a very strong-willed, hardworking man who absolutely loved to help others. He loved spending time at auctions, enjoyed four-wheelers, fishing, camping, and gambling at the casino. But what he loved the most was spending time with family and traveling the country.

James spent over 30 years traveling the country with some of his closest friends, selling magazines. While on his life journey, he had two beautiful daughters and two amazing sons. He was a business owner, partner, friend and brother to many and a stranger to no-one. James also spent a few years doing home remodeling and painting in Illinois. In 2021, he married his wife, Elisabeth (Peace) Fulkerson and together they have a son, Wyatt Fulkerson.

James was born in Dumas, Arkansas and raised in Gothenburg, Nebraska. The journey of his gypsy soul ended in Ada, Ohio.

He was born February 23, 1977, to Vickey and Bobby Fulkerson of Gothenburg, Nebraska. James leaves behind his brothers, Michael Fulkerson and Jason Fulkerson . He also leaves behind four amazing children, Saige Okken, Anthony Fulkerson, Kylee Fulkerson, and Wyatt Fulkerson. He loved all his children very much.

The family James created along the journey of life includes James and Janette Lucas and their children, James (Leona) Fulkerson and their children, Kayli Calvert and Stephanie Scribner, as well as Becky (Jack Brown) Lucas, and their sons Tristan and TomTom Brown, all of Decatur, IL.

When he married Elisabeth, James gained bonus parents, Robert and Vicki Peace (Ada), along with brothers and sisters-in-law, Seth and Chelsea Peace, Joseph and Mary Peace, Timothy and Ella Peace and Amanda Peace, as well as nephews and a niece.

Other lifelong brothers include Josiah Reagan, of Oklahoma City, OK and Brandon Augon (dec.) of California. James had so many unbreakable bonds with many friends across the country that it would be impossible to name all of them, but he cared about every single one of them.

There will be a memorial service Friday, January 2, 2026, at 6 pm, at Cornerstone Baptist Church (8360 County Road 140, Findlay, Ohio). Family and friends are welcome to join us an hour prior to the service. There are plans to have a memorial in Decatur, Illinois at a later date.

If you would like to make a memorial contribution in James' name, an account has been set up at Huntington Bank, 236 S. Main St. Findlay, OH 45840 in Wyatt’s name, to help with his future.

HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500) is honored to serve James’s family.
