James A. Gunder

James A. Gunder, 81, of Findlay, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024, at home surrounded by his family.

Jim was born to James and Constance (Ferguson) Gunder July 22, 1942, in Rudolph, Ohio. He married Sondra Snyder on March 13, 2020, and she survives. He retired from the U.S. Army as a Master Sergeant. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, and guns. Jim especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

Jim is survived by his wife; children, Kevin (Joyce) Gunder and Carleen (Raymond) Hammond; grandchildren, Bradley Szyperski-Gunder and Nicole Gunder; sister, Debbie McCauley; stepsons, Cody, Nick, and Jeremy Harvey; and 12 step-grandchildren.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Beverly, Carol, Luann, and Dave.

At Jim’s request, there will be no formal services. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with arrangements.
