James Lee Weidner, age 70, of Fostoria, Ohio, passed away on October 21, 2024 at Bridge Hospice after complications from Progressive Supranuclear Pulsy (PSP). Born on August 10, 1954, in Toledo, Ohio, he was the seventh of 10 children of Bob and Millie Weidner.
Jim graduated from St. Wendelin High School and dedicated 40 years as a UPS driver. He married his beloved wife, Sue, on May 1, 1992. Jim was a hard-working, selfless man who lived for Jesus, cherished his family, and passionately supported University of Michigan athletics, and proudly earned his BMF belt.
He is survived by his wife, Sue; siblings Micki Brigham, Janet Lutton, Steve (Mary), Pat (Elaine), and Chris (Sue); sister-in-law Paula Weidner; his children, Aaron (Cari) Weidner, Stephanie (Rob) Rath, Jeremy Crites, Marni (Matt) Crites, and Elliot (Julie) Crites; and 16 grandchildren.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Kathy McNeil and Barb Ziegler, and brothers Rob and Jeff Weidner.
