James F. Wolf

James F. Wolf, 87, of Findlay, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Birchaven Village.

He was born January 11, 1939, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Frank M. and Lucille E. (Wagenbach) Wolf. James married Linda Way on August 28, 1995, and she preceded him in death in 2021.

James graduated from Parma High School with the Class of 1957. In 1958, he proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served until 1962. Following his military service, James began a 30-year career with Columbia Gas before retiring. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed golfing. James also loved shopping, especially when he could find a great deal.

James is survived by his children, Christine (Scott) Weaver, Debra (Dennis) Ithal, Ronald (Pamela) Wolf, Michelle (Tracey) Renninger, and Brent Smith; grandchildren, Craig, Cortney, Lauren, Nicole, Amy, Bradley, Zack, Ryan, Kimberlee, and Allison; and seven, great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda; sister, Carol; granddaughter, Cortney; and son-in-law, Dennis Ithal.
