Janet K. Bolander

Janet Kay Bolander, age 78, of Mt. Blanchard, passed away peacefully September 25, 2022, at Birchaven Village. She was born February 19, 1944, in Findlay to Niles E. and Nelly M. (Downing) Waren. Janet married Paul Glenn Bolander on April 20, 1963, and he preceded her in death in April of 2019.

Janet was a Mt. Cory High School graduate. She was a devoted housewife who enjoyed crafting, gardening, and taking care of her cats. Janet was a woman of faith who loved reading her bible, but her greatest joy was taking care and spending time with her family.

Janet is survived by her son, Richard Aaron Bolander of Mt. Blanchard; daughters, Kelly Jo Buckingham of Findlay, and Heidi Franklin of Findlay; grandchildren, Clarissa Michelle Perez of San Antonio, Texas, Mackenzie Hope Franklin of Findlay, and Taylor Marie Franklin of Findlay. Also surviving are brothers, Kenneth Warren, Jeffery Warren, and Roger Warren; sisters, Phyllis (Terry) Shepler, and Katheryn Warren. In addition to her parents, and husband, Janet was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael Warren, Douglas Warren, and John Warren.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, September 30, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. at Houcktown Cemetery, Jackson Township with a time of visitation at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.  HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contributions in Janet’s name may be made to the Family in c/o the funeral home.
