Jason S. Runion

Jason Samuel Runion, 21, of Van Buren, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022, at his residence. He was born in Fort Hood, Texas on February 5, 2001, to Jason S. Runion Sr. and Megan L. (Miller) Runion.

Jason was a Van Buren High School graduate. He was also a car and truck enthusiast, but Jason’s true interest, however, was always wanting to serve his country and joined the U.S. Army to become a light wheeled mechanic. Jason loved working with tools and repairing vehicles. He loved being the “older brother” and enjoyed spending time with his brothers.

Jason is survived by his parents, Jason S. Runion Sr. of Van Buren, and Megan L. Runion of Findlay; two brothers, Brody J. Runion and Nix S. Runion, both of Van Buren; aunt, Christina J. Wagner of Clyde; grandmother, Wilma J. Runion of Sycamore; and grandparents, Rhonda L. and Charles E. Potts of Liberty Center. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Samuel E. Runion.

A private family viewing will be held Monday, February 21, 2022. Jason’s funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating.
