Jean worshipped her Jesus at Living Hope Church since the church began as Findlay Evangelical Free Church at the YMCA in 1987. Jean’s friend, Becky Roorbach, led her to new life in Christ in 1971 in Trenton, New Jersey. From that time, her lifelong passion and desire was to lead anyone and everyone to come to know and follow Jesus Christ as the Lord of their life! She was a true Matriarch, queen in our family, and her love for Jesus overflowed as she shined her light boldly for His glory! Jean passionately served Jesus as the manager of a Christian bookstore, teaching many women’s bible studies, and women’s Sunday School classes. Jean’s love for her Lord led her to disciple and lead many, many hearts to faith and trust in Jesus.
We will celebrate her life on Tuesday, November 11 at Living Hope Church, 2515 Heatherwood Dr., Findlay, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
The family would like to thank Bridge Home Health and Hospice for their compassionate care of Jean for the past seven months.
Memorials and donations in Jean’s memory may be gifted to Living Hope Church.
