Jean H Vonderhaar 1942-2016

Jean H. Vonderhaar, 74, of Findlay, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at her residence. She was born January 13, 1942 to the late Charles M. and Nina (Brockman) Hall in Dayton, KY. She married Bernard R. Vonderhaar and he preceded her in death on February 7, 2002. Jean graduated from Bellevue High School and worked as an Office Manager for 15 years. Jean is survived by son, Bernard R. (Katherine R.) Vonderhaar of Houston, TX; daughters, Lisa D. (Rick Newcomer) Miller of Findlay, OH and Kerri L. (Rodney) Sleasman of Arcadia, OH; grandchildren, Bernard Rogers, William Mitchell, and Margaret Anna Vonderhaar, Elizabeth Ashley, Katherine Ann, and Thomas Robert Miller, Nicholas Alexander, and Jesse Donald Sleasman; great-granddaughters, Isabella Ramey Spearman, Jewell Ledden and Lucy Hall Crawford; great-grandsons, Peyton Samuel, Bostyn Mitchell Sleasman, and Maddox James Green. Jean was preceded in death by sisters, Carol Doeker and Nancy L. Lochner. Friends and family may visit on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. - 12 Noon at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held on Friday at 12 Noon at the conclusion of visitation at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Fort Meigs Union Cemetery on Saturday, February 13 at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions in Jean's name may be made to Homes for Heroes.
