Jeffrey L. Ervin

Jeffrey Lynn Ervin, 55, of Findlay, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 17, 2018 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green, OH. He was born on November 13, 1962 in Bluffton, OH to Harold J. and Judith A. (Kitchen) Ervin. Jeffrey married Lee Stanbery Insley, they later divorced and she survives him. Jeffrey was a 1981 graduate of Findlay High School and attended The Ohio State University and Lourdes College earning his bachelor's. He was a nursing home administrator in Ohio and Georgia before retiring after several years. Jeffrey was a member of Sons of the American Legion Post #3, Rotary in Byron, GA., and Councilman in Byron, GA. He was also a member of Howard United Methodist Church. Jeffrey is survived by his parents, Harold and Judith, his children, Cole J. Ervin of Bryon, GA and Kylee L. (Sien) Chen of Richmond Hill, GA. His is also survived by brother, Timothy S. (Lisa) Ervin of Findlay, OH; aunts and uncles, Nancy and Larry Kitchen, Kathy and Ron Ervin, Sue and Bill Whipple; niece, Tessa E. Ervin; nephews, Alex (Shelby) Ervin and James Kellum; and family friend, Jack Shingler. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Everett and Dorothy Kitchen, and Harold and Eva Ervin and the late, Wanda Ervin; and his mother and father-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. G.W. Stanbery. Private services will be held at a later date. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contributions in Jeffrey's name may be made to Bridge Hospice Care Center, 1069 Klotz Rd., Bowling Green, Ohio 43402 or to Howard United Methodist Church, 220 Cherry St., Findlay, Ohio 45840.
