Jerry L. Sterling

Jerry L. Sterling, 74, of Findlay, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2024, surround by his loving family at his residence.

Jerry was born October 31, 1949, to Andrew and Vera Sterling in Findlay. He married Debbi Neff, and she survives.

Jerry was a 1967 graduate of Findlay High School. He was employed and retired from Ball Metal. Jerry was proud of his service in the United States Army during Vietnam. Above all, Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memories are his mother, Vera; wife, Debbi; sons, Scott (Nicole) Sterling of Marion, Ohio, and Brady (Rachel) Sterling of Marion, Indiana; daughters, Mindy Sterling of Perrysburg, OH, and Chaimi (Chris Vaughan) of Findlay; grandchildren, Preston Sterling, Gavyn Bloomfield, Graelynn Vaughan, Drake DeVerna, Jackson Sterling, Spencer Sterling, Anna Sterling, Alaina Ireland, and Rhett Sterling. In addition, he is survived by his sisters, Judy (Bud) Haas, and Jeanna (Chris) Kolhoff, both of Findlay, and brother, John Sterling of Findlay

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Andrew; son, Shayn Sterling; and brother, Joe Sterling.

Friends and family may visit from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2024, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500).  Jerry will be laid to rest alongside his son in Maple Grove Cemetery following visitation with the Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad conducting military honors.
