John Robert Boyles, 69, of McComb, passed away, Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Blanchard Valley Hospital.

He was born in Toledo, to Robert D. and Muriel Jean (Spitler) Boyles on June 19, 1956. In January 1978, John married Bonnie K. Fleming, and she survives.

John graduated from McComb High School and went on to attend the Hobart School of Welding. He later became the proud owner and operator of Boyles Blacksmith Shop. John was employed by OH materials for several years and then moved onto Grubb Construction where he retired. He was a member of McComb Methodist Church. John was an avid Keno player and enjoyed going fishing. He was a huge fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and Detroit Tigers. John had an innate ability to connect with people, never knowing a stranger, and he loved with all his heart. John was a quick wit and avid jokester; he never failed to make those around him laugh.

In addition to his wife, Bonnie, John is survived by his daughters, Mandy (Ray) Henley and Lana (Kevin Shannon) Boyles; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and his brother, Patrick Boyles.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Muriel; daughter, Jessica Jo Boyles; great grandson, Storm Micheal Rieman; and brother, Michael Boyles; .
