John L. Bracy III

John Lewis Bracy III, 74, of Mount Cory, passed away at his home, Monday, September 28, 2026.

He was born on September 25, 1952, in Lima, to John and Shirley (Hutson) Bracy Jr. He was a graduate of Allen East High School. On July 24, 1992, he married Betty “Sharon” English, and they shared many wonderful years together. He dedicated more than 40 years to Schwerman Trucking, where he worked as a manager and mechanic.

Those left behind to cherish John’s memory are his wife; children, Shelly Bracy, Natalie Selover, Vanessa Moon; grandchildren, Elizabeth Linnet, Austin Price, Ezra Price, Mason Selover, Ean Selover, Sylar Moon; siblings, JeanAnn Sherer, Beth Phillips, Louise Curl, Barb Vance, Billy Bracy.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John Lewis Bracy Jr. and Shirley Snider.
