John T. Callahan Iii

John Thomas Callahan III, of Lima, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2023, at home with family by his side at the age of 58. He was born June 22, 1965, in Toledo, Ohio, to Patricia Collins.

On May 23, 2008, John was united in marriage to April (Watson).

John attended The University of Findlay and earned his associate degree. He loved to travel, enjoy good food, and loved all sports, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes, and Tamps Bay Buccaneers.

John is survived by his loving wife, April; sons, John IV Callahan, Jeremy Callahan, Ryan Craig, and James (Victoria) Crist; daughters, Nicole Callahan, and Brittany (Mike) Schimmoeller; 11 grandchildren, Alexis, Haley, Landyn, Braydence, Jackson, James, Elizabeth, Abigail, Millard, Kattiah, and Karleigh; and 1 great-granddaughter, Lillian. He is also survived by his brother, Mark Berry; and nephews, Mark Callahan, Christopher Landis, and Savannah Callahan. John was preceded in death by his parents, Patricia and Michael Collins.

To honor John’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. The family will have a Celebration of Life event after the holidays. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with arrangements.
