John E. Poe Jr.

John Edward Poe Jr., 64, of Jenera, OH, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Blanchard Valley Hospital with family at his side. He was born in Findlay on July 30, 1955 to the late John E. and Phyllis A. (Palmerton) Poe Sr. On August 14, 1976, John married Christine Miller, and she survives in Jenera. He is also survived by his brother, Jackie E. (Vickie) Poe of Bluffton; his sister, Sallie M. Poe-Bolin of Fostoria; and various nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by a brother, James E. Poe.

John was a member of Mt. Cory Masonic Lodge, the Eagles in North Baltimore, Zenobia Shrine and Zenobia Campus Club. He attended Connections Church of Findlay and was a member of Goldwing Road Riders Association Chapter W-1 of Bowling Green and Chapter U of Celina.

Friends and family may visit on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 28 with visitation one hour prior (12-1 p.m.) in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Portage Township. Memorial contributions in John’s name may be made to Connections Church of Findlay, 700 Rockwell Ave., Findlay, Ohio 45840.
