John Breitigam Sr.

John Breitigam Sr., age 74, went to his eternal home Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born in Findlay, Ohio on January 16, 1949, to Howard H. and Genevieve M. (McLaughlin) Breitigam.

John was a graduate of Findlay High School. He married Connie Baumunk on October 16, 1966. John loved golf, classic cars, NASCAR, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a long-time member of College First Church of God.

John is survived by his wife, Connie; two sons, John (Laurie) Breitigam Jr. and Brian (Becky) Breitigam, his beloved grandchildren, Wesley, Willie, Kylee, and Kody Breitigam; step-grandchildren, Maeghan, Mackenzie, and Billy Henry; great-grandchildren, Paisley and Wrenley Breitigam; sister-in-law, Nancy Breitigam; niece, Beth Breitigam Hurd; and nephew, Eric Breitigam. He is preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Bill Shively; siblings, Jeanette Breitigam, Gene Breitigam; and grandson, Johnny Hugh Breitigam III.

Friends and family may visit from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2023, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services will follow visitation at 4 o’clock with Pastor David Welker officiating. Memorial contributions in John’s name may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
