Jon E. Davis

Jon Edward Davis, 80, of Deshler, peacefully passed away February 6, 2022, at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green. He was born February 28, 1941, to James and Olive (Carrington) Davis in Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Jon enlisted in the U.S. Army at the age of 17 and it was during that time that he received his GED. He was a truck driver by trade and retired after 55 years of service. Jon was a life member of the American Legion in Deshler. He enjoyed his daily walks and playing the Lottery.

Jon is survived by his son, Alan (Susan) Davis of North Baltimore; daughter, Jackie (Mike) Roberts of Deshler; six grandchildren; and eight, great-grandchildren; his brother, James Davis of Florida; and sister, Betty Corbin of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per Jon’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements.
