Joyce L. Burrell

Joyce Eileen Burrell, 81, of Findlay, passed away Friday, April 17, 2026, in her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born November 29, 1944, in Kenton, to the late Clayton and Elsie (Marling) Young. She married Bobby C. Burrell October 21, 1971, and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Janet (Leo) Oswald, Janice (Jack) Stahler, Carey (Judy) Young, Larry (Edith) Young, and grandson, Shea Newfer.

Joyce touched the lives of so many with her warmth laughter, and unwavering love. She is survived by her special companion, Gus Parke, who referred to her as “my girl;” children, Teresa (Dave) Grine, Tina (Jerry) Gerken, Barbara Graham, Terri (Brad) Newfer, Thomas (Linda) Burrell, and Bobbie (Tony) Wisner. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren,19 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews whom she adored and cherished.

She dedicated 36 years of her career to Whirlpool where she built many meaningful friendships. She was the heart of her family and friends, someone who found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. Whether she was cheering loudly from the sidelines of sports games, soaking in the sounds of the ocean waves on the beach, or enjoying a game of cards, bowling or golf, she lived fully with a spirit that brought people together. A devoted fan of Michigan Wolverines football, she could always be counted on to cheer every game!

Her legacy lives on in the memories she created, the traditions she cherished, and her quick wit and sass! She will be deeply missed and forever loved!
