June L. Hampshire

June L. Hampshire 73, of Alvada, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. June was born in Beckley, West Virginia on May 15, 1947 to the late Creed and Odessa (Spangler) Meadows. She was graduate of Liberty Benton High School and on February 8, 1966 she married Robert Hampshire Jr. June worked for Ball Metal and retired after 35 years of service. She enjoyed cooking, doing crafts, and flower arrangements. She had a special place for her cats as well. June was a loving grandmother who adored and lived for her grandchildren. Her life revolved around them and she always enjoyed their time together. She will be greatly missed by so many. June had a kind heart and was always helping others.

June is survived by her loving husband Robert Jr.; daughter, Tracy (Chad) Hampshire-Kemenah: grandchildren, Mackenzie and Creed Kemenah; a sister, Sandra Hawkins; and brothers, Jerry (Phyllis) Meadows and Jim (Helen) Meador. June was preceded in death by her brother, A.E. “Bud” Moye; sisters, Betty McDowell and Mary Lou Rosendale; and a sister-in-law, Sue Moye.

Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, January 27, from 5-8 p.m.at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 11 a.m. with Pastor David Price officiating. June will be laid to rest in Union cemetery.
