Karl L. Stahl

Karl Lee Stahl, 65, of Findlay, passed away February 12, 2025, at Blanchard Valley Hospital.

He was born July 26, 1959, in Findlay, to Raymond and Barbara (Finerd) Stahl. Karl was a graduate of Findlay High School. He loved the Ohio State Buckeyes and his pets Buddy and Miss Kitty.

Later in life, he fell in love and was united in marriage to Peggy English on October 2, 2022. Though married for slightly over two years, he remained committed to her until her passing in 2024. At Christmas time, he enjoyed playing Santa Claus for the community, his family, the children of friends, and all over NW Ohio who thought he was the real deal. He was quite convincing with his full beard (and equally full stomach), although his true gift was the twinkle in his eyes, especially when talking with children. Karl is survived by his brother, Kevin (Bree) Stahl of Findlay; and his friend, Tammy Bloom of Findlay. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Butler.
