Kathelene K. Lowery

Kathelene Kay Lowery, 77, of Findlay, died Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Hospice Care Center. She was born in Findlay on July 28, 1945 to Raleigh and Helen (Whistler) Lytle. Kathelene married Ed Lowery, Jr. on January 7, 1965.

Kathelene was a member of Church of God and loved playing Yahtzee and listening to Unshackled. She was a homemaker, putting her family at the center of her life.

Kathelene is survived by her husband, Ed; sons, Ed (Becky) Lowery III and Michael Lowery, both of Findlay, as well as Tony Lowery of Kenton; daughter, Julie (Joe) Lord of North Baltimore; and sisters Delores Click, LaDonna Myers, and Kathryn Warren; 12 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert Lytle and Ronald Lytle; sister, Wilda McKee; daughter-in-law, Jane Lowery; and grandson, Ethan Lord.

Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services will follow visitation with Pastor Josh Thilimony presiding. Interment will follow in Knollcrest Gardens. Memorial contributions in Kathelene’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
