Kay Clymer, 83, of Findlay, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at Bridge Hospice Care Center.
She was born January 26, 1943, in Dunkirk, Ohio, to Cloyce Paul and Alberta (DeLong) Haas.
Kay was a graduate of Findlay High School and a devoted Christian, wife, and mother. She worked at RCA until her first child came along. Later she used her gift of music to teach piano and invest in young lives. She went on to work in the Findlay City school system as a cook and manager. Kay's relationship with Christ was the foundation of her life, reflected in her servant's heart through ministry. She was a member of the Findlay Bible Methodist Church where she used her talents as a church musician from piano to organ for 60 years. Together with her husband, Marion, they ministered to the elderly and to those who were home bound. More than a church member, she was a woman of deep faith whose life reflected Christ's love through worship, service, and kindness to those around her. She also enjoyed sewing, photography, drawing blueprints and touring homes.
On January 25, 1964, Kay married Marion O. Clymer, who survives. Together they shared 62 years of marriage and built a life centered on faith, family, and community.
She is also survived by her children, Tammy (Nevin) Heller, Lisa (Bradley) Snelling, and Sam (Jennifer) Clymer; three grandchildren, Austin (Grace) Savage-Heller, Ethan Heller, and Anna (Tyler) Mills; two great-grandchildren, Damon and Colsen; her brother, Larry (Betty) Haas; and nephew, Bud (Judy) Haas Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Bud Haas Sr.
