Lawrence R. Young

Lawrence Russell Young, age 71, of Findlay, passed away peacefully August 23, 2022, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Findlay, June 26, 1951, to Arden and Velma (Butler) Young. Lawrence married Kathy (McQuistion) in March 1983, and she survives.

Lawrence was a Riverdale High School graduate. He retired from Whirlpool Corporation after 44 years of service.

Lawrence leaves behind his loving wife Kathy of 39 years; two sons, Andrew (Jessica) Young of Kenosha, WI, Jeremy Van Buskirk of Arlington, OH; two daughters, Megan Young of Lewis Center, OH, and Melissa (Luis) Naranjo of Panama City, FL; four grandchildren, Lukas, Gabriel, Isabella, and Sophia; one brother, Jerry (Nancy) Young of Findlay; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Deb Young Knepper.

In honoring Lawrence’s wishes, there will be no formal services.
