Linda L. DeCaro

Linda L. “Billie” DeCaro, 70, of Bowling Green, passed away peacefully at Bridge Hospice Care Center in the presence of close family on October 1, 2026.

Linda was born on September 16, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio. She attended and graduated from Huron High School. Linda married Kenneth G. Bores on January 14, 1978.

She loved being a homemaker and a mother. When she was younger, Linda worked in retail and food service and was an integral part of Kenneth’s pool business during the summer months. Her hobbies included horseback riding, selling on eBay, painting ceramics, talking on the phone, and dancing. After her husband passed away, spending time with her family became an especially important source of joy and comfort.

Linda loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally. She had a huge heart and made friends with anyone she talked to. Her faith in Jesus as her Lord and Savior was unwavering, and she enjoyed weekly visits from her priest and fellow parishioners from St. Aloysius Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Bores (Nicole); daughter, Candace Bores (Miguel); and grandchildren, Shaun, Kaitlyn, Emily, Lillian, Evelyn, Morgan Pearce, and Marco Sanchez.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Bores, and her parents, Alfred and Cecilia DeCaro.

A special Mass will be held Saturday, October 17, at 10:00 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 510 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, OH 44870, with a small luncheon following the mass. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500) is honored to have been entrusted with the care of Linda and her family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the descendants' family for funeral expenses.
