Linda M. Wood Stoner, 77, of Findlay, passed away January 28, 2021 at Taylor Place. She was born May 9, 1943 in Lakewood, Ohio to the late Earl T. and Olga (Schelgunov) Wood. Linda married David J. Stoner on August 20, 1988 and he preceded her in death in 2014.

Linda graduated from Rocky River High School and attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She has worked most of her adult life at Drake, Phillips, Kuenzli & Clark as a legal secretary. Prior to working there, she worked at Tiffin Mercy Hospital and the Seneca County Sheriff’s Department. Linda and her husband David, “The Tile Guy”, spent many years boating at Harbor Park Marina on Catawba Island with many beloved friends. She was also a member of the AMVETS Post 21 and Salvation Army.

Linda is survived by her beloved children, Charles M. (Sarah) Laveglia of North Olmsted, William S. (Colleen) Laveglia of Arcadia, Elizabeth A. (Phillip) Stoner Ogg of Findlay, and Jennifer A. (Scott) Stoner Benningfield of Fisherville, KY.; and many nieces and nephews. She leaves behind her precious grandchildren, Anthony Laveglia, Michael Laveglia, Dominic Laveglia, Morgan Laveglia, and Mallory Laveglia, Scott Martin, Allison Martin, Nathan Martin, and Zachary Martin, Ashley Benningfield, and Emily Benningfield; great-grandchildren, Otto, Greta, and Carson Laveglia. Also surviving is her sister-in-law, Becky (Gary) Hawk of Port Clinton; and brother-in-law, Joseph (Anne) Stoner of Findlay. Linda was preceded in death by a sister, Judith Bloede; her In-laws, Dick and Mimi Stoner; and a brother-in-law, Jim Bloede.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements.
