Loretta M. Johnson

Loretta M. Johnson, 70, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born April 26, 1950 in Fairmont West Virginia. Loretta married David Johnson on April 15, 1974. She graduated from Mannington high school in 1969 and later obtained her associates degree from Webster Business College. Loretta spent her life dedicating her time taking care of special-needs clients that were like her second family. She was an amazing mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her best friend Sheila Perkins. Loretta loved Elvis, Trump, and feeding her squirrels.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Eddie) Smarr and her son Stephan (Tonya) Johnson; six grandchildren, Emily (Mark) Kuligowski, James “Jimmy” Susko, Harley and Haleigh Johnson, and Ava and Evan Smarr. Loretta was preceded in death by her husband David, her birth mother Irene, and her grandmother Gussie “granny” who raised her like her own.

Loretta’s wishes were to be cremated. There will be a celebration of life at her daughters home on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 from 11- 2 PM. Memorial contributions in Loretta’s name can be made to Cancer Patient Services of Findlay, Ohio.
