Lyda Auxier

Lyda Auxier, 88, of Findlay, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Birchaven Village. She was born on December 24, 1934 in East Point, Kentucky to the late Ollie and Lyda Conley. Lyda married her childhood sweetheart, Richard, and together they raised two children, Rick and Linda.

Lyda accepted the Lord as her Savior and was a member of Parkview Christian Church. We know she is now reunited with her beloved Richard praising God and taking their walks together in Heaven.

Lyda is survived by her son, Rick (Beth, deceased) Auxier; daughter, Linda (Bill) Douglas; 6 grandchildren, Andy (Channon) Douglas, Ben Douglas (Sara), Sara (Jon) Auxier Poirier, Elizabeth (Dan) Auxier Meyers, Rebecca Auxier Robertson, Matthew (Pim) Auxier; 22 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Irene Kendrick. In addition to her parents, Lyda was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; brothers, Raymond, Dewey, and James Conley; sisters, Imogene, Eunice, Mildred and Wanda; daughter-in-law, Beth Auxier; and two grandsons, Joshua Douglas and Daniel Auxier.

The family would like to thank everyone at Birchaven for the care and kindness given to Lyda over the years, and to Parkview Christian Church for the visits, cards and letters that continued for seven years. May God bless you all.

A family service was held at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay (419-422-1500). Interment took place in Knollcrest Cemetery.
