Marcele (Marcie) J (Matyas) Beamer

Marcele (Marcie) J. Matyas Beamer, 88, of Findlay, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 12, 2020 at Bridge Hospice Care Center. She had been a resident at The Heritage Assisted Living since November of 2015. Marcie was born at home in McComb to the late John and Mary (Konecny) Matyas on January 27, 1932. Marcie married Donald L. Beamer on April 3, 1954 and he preceded her in death on September 1, 1994.

Marcie graduated from McComb High School in 1950. After her marriage, she became active in the Arcadia Garden Club when she and Don moved to the Arcadia area. She worked as a florist in Fostoria and Findlay, retiring from Bo-Ka Flower Shop. Marcie was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church.

Marcie is survived by four precious daughters, Kathy (Kimm) Crow, Terri (Steve) Yonikus, Chris (John) Hitchings, and Carol Osborne; nine grandchildren, Brent Crow, Alicia Crow, Quinn Zellers, Zabrena Stahl, Nikki Yonikus, Johnathon Hitchings, Kallie Allen, Seth Osborne, and Kama Kett; fifteen great-grandchildren, Sydney, Evan, Addi, Lizzy, William, Ovid, Marian, Makayla, Zachary, Alysia, Kaden, Sophia, Gregory, Alexis, and Angelia. Marcie was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Studenka, and Betty Klauda; two brothers, John, and Frank Matyas.

Friends and family may visit on Sunday, August 16, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A Funeral Mass for Marcie will be held Sunday in conclusion of visitation at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home with Fr. Peter Grodi as celebrant. Interment will follow in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore. Memorial contributions in Marcie’s memory may be made to Czech Polka Club, 1-15219 CR 4-1, Metamora, OH 43540.
