Marcille “Sis” Guear

February 27, 1925 — August 25, 2016

Marcille "Sis" Guear, 91, of Findlay, peacefully passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Bridge Hospice Care Center surrounded by 5 generations of her loving family. She was born on February 27, 1925 in Jenera, OH to the late Ira and Mary E. (Sheriff) Heldman. She married Ralph D. Guear and he preceded her in death on August 1, 2011. Marcille was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Findlay. She was fun loving and famous for loving her grandchildren so much that each one felt they were her favorite. She served most of her life as a mother and home maker but always fondly remembered the year she spent during World War II as "Rosie the Riveter" at the National Electrical Carbon plant in Fostoria. Marcille also worked a number of years at the egg house. Marcille is survived by daughters, Sarah Mize, Janet (Wolfgang) Michalke, and Rebecca (Ronald) Goble; grandchildren, Melanie Donaldson, Bonnie Rice, Jeffrey Craig, Nathaniel Davidson, Thomas Mize, Tammy Mize, Tanya Chew, Melinda Kloster, Jeremy Michalke, Eric Michalke, Heather Gardner, Todd Guear, Andrew Goble, and Logan Goble; 31 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Gerald, and Paul Heldman. She is also survived by her sister-in-laws, Betty Heldman, and Edna Guear; and brother-in-law, William Keeler. Marcille was preceded in death by daughter, Judith Craig; grandchild, Paul Dunn; sister, Laura Keeler; and brothers, Matthew, John, Adelbert, Harvey, and Louis Heldman. Friends and family may visit on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 31 with visitation one hour prior (10 - 11 a.m.) at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2300 Northridge Rd, Findlay, OH 45840, with Pastor Robert Krueger officiating. Interment will follow in Trinity Lutheran cemetery in Jenera. Memorial contributions in Marcille's name may be made to the Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
