Marjorie E. Perkins

Marjorie Elaine (Basinger) Perkins, age 88, of Findlay, went to her eternal rest February 18, 2023, at Brookdale Findlay. She was born November 10, 1934, in Bluffton to Wilmer and Phebe (DeCamp) Basinger. Marjorie married Thomas T. Perkins on September 5, 1959, and he preceded her in death in 2016.

Marjorie graduated from Cory-Rawson High School. She did secretarial work for Triplett Electrical Instrument Company out of Bluffton and retired. She was a member of First Missionary Church in Bluffton, Van Buren Methodist Church, Lions Club, and a member of E.L.P.A.

Margorie is survived by her sister, Joyce Smith of Johnstown, Ohio, and 14 nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Margorie was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Basinger, sister, Joanne Butler, grandparents, William and Laura (Clevenger) DeCamp, and David and Margaret (Flaith) Basinger.

Friends and family may visit from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2023, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services will follow visitation at 3 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Kelly Sterling officiating. Interment will follow in Bechtel Cemetery.
